Dakota is a multidisciplinary Creative! Her journey as a visual artist began as a toddler when she was given a set of crayons to doodle with while spending time at cafés and eateries with her mother in Kyoto, Japan. Throughout the course of her life, she has been experimenting with various art forms including drawing, painting, sculpture, metalsmithing, fiber, photography, digital illustration/animation and more. She earned the Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Eskenazi School of Art, Architecture and Design. Her extensive and vast experience and multicultural background as well as her mother and father's artistic and architectural sensibilities inspire and inform her work today.
