Instanovel

Inspired by a New York Public Library social media campaign whose purpose was to provide a new platform for iconic stories by reimagining Instagram’s Stories feature, Dakota designed an Instanovel of the short story “The Necklace” by Guy de Maupassant. For this project, she developed modern designs and illustrations, as well as animations to appeal to younger audiences who may not be familiar with this literary piece.
